Blast cleaning automate for profiles delivered to Estland

Finnblast has delivered  for blast  cleaning of profiles an automated drive through machine, type FB 350 to Estland.  The customer is Kane Metall AS. They produce steel structures to buildings and also various kind of other steel components.  The company uses different profiles, lie U-beams, L-beams, flat bars, rectangular tubes and round tubes.  The advanteges of FB 350 are for example small dimensions, high efficiency, easy to use and that the FB 350 is very suitable also for blast cleaning of thin walled profiles, which are commonly used in manufacturing of steel doors and windows.   The beams are blast cleaned before cutting and welding to cleanliness grade  Sa 2,5.  Thus the quality of welds is high. The company has certified quality system according the ISO 1090-1.

Blast cleaning machine for profiles, FB 350

The machine uses hardened steel grit as blasting media.  The grit is is circulated and coarse particles and fines are removed from the re-usable blasting media.
