2,5 m wide wheel blast machine to Vemitek Oy

Vemitek Oy (www.vemitek.fi) is a mechanical workshop situated at Peräseinäjoki in Finland. Vemitek Oy delivers plates, flat bars, beams and different kind of steel parts flame cutted, plasma-cutted, drilled and bended. Companys services include flame cutting, plasma cutting and other cutting services and from now on, also blast cleaning with a wheel blast machine. Vemitek is a manufacturer of buckets for excavators, wear parts like teeth and hardened lip plates. The company makes also steel frames for industrial halls, MultaEX screening buckets, grip buckets and other spare parts and accessories.

Finnblast has delivered to Vemitek Oy a roller conveyor wheel blast machine with a 2,5 m wide opening, type FBRR 2500×500/8. With it can the plates up to 2,5 m wideness be shot blasted. The machine has 8 pcs blast wheels. The speed of blast wheels can be adjusted steplessly. By changing the speed of blast wheels the user can adjust a suitable power of the shot blasting. The machine has controls with PLC and the operator can make and choose a suitable program for each product to be blasted. The wheel blast machine requires only a small space, because the filter is assembeled on the machine frame. The filter has an automatic system for cleaning the filter cartridges with pulses of compressed air. The cleaning pulses are given based on the pressure difference of the filter cartridges. This control system saves compressed air and gives a longer life to the filter cartridges.
