<\/a><\/p>\nCyclones are suitable for extracting dry dust from the air stream. The benefits of a cyclone include the following:
\n– Simple structure, no moving parts
\n– Requires no external energy
\n– Small pressure loss
\n– No clogging

Finnblast’s cyclones are dimensioned using computerised flow dynamics (CFD) on a per-case basis, taking into account the dust concentration, quality, size distribution, etc. This allows for the most effective dust separation to be achieved with minimal pressure loss. Typically, dust separation capacity exceeds 90%. FB cyclones can also be used for separating highly abrasive and high-temperature dust. Whenever necessary, the inside surface of the cyclone is also coated with an abrasion-proof material. The processing of the separated dust and medium is dimensioned on a per-case basis.
