The benefits of a cyclone include the following:<br \/>\n&#8211; Simple structure, no moving parts<br \/>\n&#8211; Requires no external energy<br \/>\n&#8211; Small pressure loss<br \/>\n&#8211; No clogging<br \/>\nAir volume 10\u2013100,000 m3\/h.  Finnblast&#8217;s cyclones are dimensioned using computerised flow dynamics (CFD) on a per-case basis, taking into account the dust concentration, quality, size distribution, etc. This allows for the most effective dust separation to be achieved with minimal pressure loss. Typically, dust separation capacity exceeds 90%. FB cyclones can also be used for separating highly abrasive and high-temperature dust. Whenever necessary, the inside surface of the cyclone is also coated with an abrasion-proof material.
